How many hook-ups can I have?
Each lot in Crumbacher is allowed one residential hook-up to the domestic water system. Water may be used for normal household use, and for watering up to ½ acre of landscaping. No other watering should occur unless your lot has irrigation rights, as discussed below. There are currently no meters for individual hook-ups; however, the state will require these to be retrofitted by 2017.
Can I irrigate my property?
Only a few lots in Crumbacher hold water rights that allow irrigation of the entire property. According to the Department of Ecology issued water right certificate, lots 7, 8, 9, 13, and 33 are allowed to water two acres each. Lots 34 and 35 are allowed four acres each, and lots 43 and 44 are allowed one acre each. All other lots must stay within the allowable ½ acre for lawn and garden use.
